The litter receptacle is carved from solid blocks of Andure® and fitted with a removable liner. The style also coordinates with our Jefferson Line. The removable lid gives access to the well ventilated and drained interior. Liner sold separately.
SOLID CONSTRUCTION
The strength of our furniture is ensured by the use of solid construction and sophisticated engineered resin- Andure®. Our furniture is made from solid blocks of 3/8", 3/4" or 1 1/8" Andure®, resin with titanium alloy. The leg cross section on our seating are at least 2 1/2" X 1 1/8" inches thick, which is 20 times the standard for popular resin furniture.
UV EXPOSURE
Ultraviolet light takes its name from its ultra long wavelength. It is this wavelength that can penetrate and break the polymer chain causing the material to become brittle and chalky. Studies show that an unusually efficient light-absorbing molecule called HALS is effective to protect Andure's® long chain molecule structure from UV deterioration and thereby ensure the long life of our outdoor furniture.
SUN SHIELD
Common resin will fail as a result of the constant penetration of solar radiation. We fight the sun's fire with another fire - rutile - which is titanium ore. Rutile is alloyed with our co-polymer to become Andure® and reflects damaging solar radiation by redirecting it into a harmless pattern. When we alloy rutile titanium ore with resin, we capture the benefits of this remarkable crystal, of its density and fire, both of which are greater than that of diamond.
